GAME ART

AND DESIGN

MYTHOS

My recent work is encompassed in Mythos, a Unity 2D action platformer that I led a team of 10 developers to create for the last 2 years.

Mythos is a 2D Metroidvania inspired by Hollow knight and Ori and the Blind Forest. Traverse the environment with interactable elemental abilities, discover alien dimensions and a multiversal corruption that aims to destroy all realities as we know it. Mythos features a graphic art style, unique environments and a HP Lovecraft inspired story that explores the faults of the human mind, importance of family and the allure of power.

OTHER PROJECTS

A few additional smaller projects completed with work done on the entire art pipeline

The Fateful Battle For Town One

I created this game as a special surprise for the Town One Game Jam I hosted. Paired with a Python based Autokey script, I was able to let 80 developers control the game remotely via Twitch Chat and defeat the evil King in Purple.

Pugs and Frog IN SPACE!

Developed as part of BC Game Jam and leading a team of 5 others, join Pugs the Frog and Frog the Pug in a wild space opera duel. Flail wildly in Zero G and use power ups to take out your fellow combatant.

TTRPG DESIGN

Incorporating mechanical, narrative and artistic design has quickly became one my passions. The easiest and most visually appealing way for me to expand upon that love was with TTRPGs (mostly D&D 5e) as it allowed me to frame my creativity in text, colour, and image. Utilizing emerging technologies, my expert formatting and image editing skills using programs such as Photoshop and Figma to create the combat and game system mechanics to enrich the worlds I always wanted to create.

At the end of a current run, sharing and posting my design process on social media my content was pieced together into volumes which act as individual adventure modules, with the first one noted below!
